Museveni and Kagame are aware of the Rwanda-Uganda tensions.

When they met Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa, the two presidents, held a two-hour meeting at the Sheraton Hotel.

Museveni and Kagame reportedly discussed the cause of the tensions.

Part of the what the two principals discussed was the 2009 extradition treaty.

The treaty’s major goal was to make both countries lock out or handover dissidents.

They also discussed the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) controversy.

But the Adis meeting was inconclusive.

And the Kampala meeting is expected to work out ways of mending relations between Rwanda and Uganda.
