Why the Kagame, Museveni Meeting on Sunday
Uganda and Rwanda have had a cat-and-mouse relationship in recent times.
Even some tabloid reports claimed Museveni was planning to topple Kagame.
On Wednesday, Museveni skipped the African Continental Summit in Kigali, Rwanda.
It is scandal-hit foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa who represented Museveni in Kigali.
Kagame was also no show at a recent East African Community summit meeting in Kampala.

Museveni and Kagame are aware of the Rwanda-Uganda tensions.
When they met Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa, the two presidents, held a two-hour meeting at the Sheraton Hotel.
Museveni and Kagame reportedly discussed the cause of the tensions.
Part of the what the two principals discussed was the 2009 extradition treaty.
The treaty’s major goal was to make both countries lock out or handover dissidents.
They also discussed the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) controversy.
But the Adis meeting was inconclusive.
And the Kampala meeting is expected to work out ways of mending relations between Rwanda and Uganda.
