PHOTOS: How it Went Down at Wizkid Kampala Concert
Nigerian singer Wizkid left Ugandans yearning for more during his “Thursday Night With Wizkid” Kampala concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval Thursday night.
As the clock clicked close to 11pm local time, Wizkid took to the stage.
First, he sang “Sweet Love”.
Then followed his other songs: “Jaiye Jaiye”, “Caro”, “Slow Down”, “In My Bed”, “Shabba”, “Holla at Yo Boy”, “Come Closer”, “Lagos to Kampala”, “Final”, and “Show You The Monye”.
Ugandan musicians who included Vinka, Kent and Flosso, Sheebah, Nutty Neithan, Da Agent, Beenie Gunter, Winnie Nwagi, Michael Ross, Exodus, Fille, Rabadaba and Fik Fameika performed at Wizkid’s concert.
WIZKID APOLOGISES FOR MISSING PREVIOUS KAMPALA CONCERT
Meanwhile, Wizkid apologised for skipping his 2016 show.
He said he would give Ugandans a free show in the future.
WIZKID ‘SPLASHES’ CASH
Wizkid also said he would give a fan $5000 before flying back to Nigeria.
The lucky fan was Sarah Bugunda who had earlier won Shs 10m from Star Times ‘Wangula Obukade Christmas Promotion’.
WIZKID ASKS FOR WIFE, BABY AT KAMPALA CONCERT
The Nigerian singer, no doubt, enjoyed himself.
He asked Ugandans to get him a wife, a house.
“You guys are going to let me buy a house in Uganda. I am going to buy a house in Uganda and find a wife. I want a baby,” he said.
WIZKID LOVES UGANDA
At about midnight, Wizkid got off stage.
“I love you Uganda, Thank you so much,” he said.
