Ofwono Opondo: Amuriat’s Talk of Ending Museveni Rule is Just Empty
Government Spokesperson Ofwono Opondo and newly elected opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party president Patrick Amuriat are engaged in a war of words.
The war of words began immediately Amuriat was elected FDC president.
OFWONO OPONDO, AMURIAT ROUND ONE
Muntu reacted to Amuriat’s election with disdain.
Opondo had scoffed at FDC’s choice of Amuriat wondering how a party could pick a man who had lost a parliamentary seat.has hit back at government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo.
With Amuriat responding to Opondo on NTV Sunday night, one would think that this war of words would end. Far from it.
Amuriat made another vow that rubbed Opondo the wrong way. He said he would end President Yoweri Museveni rule by 2021.
Now Opondo has hit back at Amuriat describing his vow of ejecting Museveni as empty talk.
Amuriat has vowed to reclaim the ‘2016 victory’ of Museveni four-time challenger Dr Kizza Besigye.
“Amuriat is on empty talk about ‘retrieving’ 2016 electoral ‘victory'” tweeted Opondo in response.
