Five Remanded over Murder of Finnish National
Tusavouri Tuomas Juha Petteri, a Finnish national, was found dead at Pearl of Africa in Kampala.
FIVE REMANDED TO LUZIRA OVER FINISH NATIONAL PETTERI MURDER AT PEARL OF AFRICA HOTEL
Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court has remanded ISO operative Apollo Kyabajje and four others — Faridah Nagayi, a receptionist; and Fatuma Kabagambe, a house wife.
Others are Nassifu, a driver; and Caroline Alinda a businesswoman.
Presiding Chief Magistrate James Ereemye Mawanda charged the five with manslaughter, trafficking in narcotic drugs, forgery of an invitation document and conspiracy to commit the offence.
The accused denied the charges.
Lead prosecutor Nelly Asiku informed Mawanda that investigations were still ongoing.
Mawanda then remanded the five to Luzira until April 5.
Prosecution alleges that on February 06, while at Pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala, Nagayi, Kabagambe and Walusimbi, unlawfully caused the death of Terasvuori Tuomas Juha Petteri, 42, a Finland national by delivering Narcotic drugs to him on February 05.
For ISO operative Kyabagye, prosecution accuses him, together with Alinda, of forging an invitation letter on February 02.
