According to prosecution, Kipoi  convened meetings  to recruit soldiers with an intention of carrying out activities to prejudice the security of the  Defence Forces.

Prosecution added that Kipoi convened the meetings between November 2012 and December 2013 in Kampala, Wakiso, Masaka, Nakasongola, Fort Portal, Jinja and Ntoroko districts.

Kipoi reportedly hatched his scheme with UPDF soldiers: Sgt Albino Okeng, Sgt Yunus Lemeriga, L/Cpl Adams Mawa, L/Cpl Rogers Mweru and Pvt Saidi Dodola.

“Investigations into this case are done and we pray to have a hearing date fixed,” submitted Mugisha.

“The suitable date for us is April 24 this year.”
