Emilian Kayima Wins Book Award, Museveni’s ‘Mustard Seed’ Loses to Kyemba’s ‘State of Blood’
Uganda Police publicist Emilian Kayima is a proud recipient of two writing awards.
Kayima won the best author award and the self help category prize for his book “Taasa Ettaka Lyo” (Luganda equivalent for ‘Protect Your Land’) .
The 2017 edition of the National Author’s Award also awarded 15 other authors at an event held at Mackinon Suites in Kampala.
“We would like to congratulate our spokesperson SSP Emilian Kayima who has today received two awards, from the National Author’s Award 2017 and also emerged the overall winner as an acknowledgement for his book “Taasa Ettaka Lyo”,” police congratulated Kayima.
“Honoured and humbled for this award from the national authors,” said an excited Kayima.
