MUSTAPHA LUBEGA SUIT AGAINST RUBAGA CATHEDRAL
Lugega claims he supplied 200 bales (4,000 pieces) of specially printed Martyrs holy cast cloth.
Lubega’s filed his suit on March 16, 2018.
In the suit, Lubega says he agreed with Rubaga Cathedral to deliver the pieces at Uganda Martyrs Shrine Development Foundation.
The Kampala Archdiocese sitting at Rubaga was to pay the money on delivery.
“Kampala Archdioceses subsequently confirmed the said arrangement and owned commodities whereat,” claims Lubega.
But he now says the church is yet to pay him.
“As result of the defendant’s conduct, the plaintiff has suffered loss and damage, among others,” claims Lubega.
Part of the damages he wants court compelled to pay is the profit he would have made had he invested the money somewhere else.
