Besigye: Get Ready for War
BESIGYE ON WAR AGAINST KATUMBA WAMALA, COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF LAND
Commenting on a statement by junior works minister Katumba Wamala that poor land laws delayed road projects, Besigye said Ugandans should get ready to fight.
“Let’s all prepare for the next battle,” wrote Besigye.
Nankabirwa: We’ll Declare War against God-Sent Museveni if he Refuses to Stand for President in 2023
Touring the Musita-Lumino road works with Unra officials, Katumba Wamala called on parliament to expedite the land amendment Bill.
The Constitution Amendment Bill, 2017, seeks to amend Article 26 to allow central or local government take over any private land for development if the owner rejects the compensation money given.
Besigye now says the “NRM Junta” could be “totally DEAF: didn’t hear protest Vs Age-Limit bill; hasn’t heard protest Vs Land (grabbing) Bill”.
“Ugandans want development in FREEDOM and FAIRNESS! Let’s all prepare for the next battle.”
Meanwhile, UPDF has reportedly grabbed Besigye’s Land.
