Photos: Susan Magara Killers On The Run, Police Asks Public to Report Them
Abduhakim Lugolobi, Yakoub Byensi Escaped during Usafi Mosque Raid
Police has appealed to memebers of public to report to them once they come across two of the key suspects in the kidnap and murder of administrator Susan Magara.
The duo — Abduhakim Lugolobi and Yakoub Byensi — reportedly escaped during a raid by joint security forces on Usafi Mosque.
Lugolobi is a resident of Kibuye while Byensi stays in Katikkamu, Luweero.
Police had earlier thought publishing the photos of the suspects would jeorpadize investigations.
But the force later decided to seek the help of the general public.
POLICE ON SUSAN MAGARA SUSPECTS
“We have come out now to disclose these suspects because we know they are within you, move with you, they eat with you,” said police deputy spokesperson Patrick Onyango.
“You do not know that we are looking for them without exposing who they are and by doing that they are taking chance by interacting with you freely.”
Onyango also urged the public to report the suspects.
“We are appealing to whoever has any information or has seen them in their area or where they are currently staying to call us in confidence or report to the nearest police post.”
