Mowzey Radio Death: Mike Mukula Steps in to Sort Music Industry
Following the death of singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio, former junior health minister Capt Mike Mukula says he will meet Ugandan musicians to chart a way of sorting the music industry.
Mukula, also former Soroti Municipality MP, told reporters Monday at his residence in Bugolobi, that he had interest in promoting Mowzey Radio’s music.
Years ago, Mukula said, he had flown in international stars like Yvonne Chaka Chaka to inspire local talent.
He now plans to meet artistes this week.

“Talent is God-given,” noted Mukula, urgiong musicians to “pass the correct message to young people to inspire them”.
“They should not just pass sexual messages but educative messages — those that encourage young people to work hard.”
Mukula said he wanted to help musicians reap from their talent but also remain disciplined and avoid drugs.
