Kazoora Jailed Over Bank Loan
Court Orders UBA to Pay Shs 3,000 Daily for J Kazoora Meals in Prison
Court has ordered United Bank of Africa (UBA) to pay Shs 3,000 to feed media personality David Kazoora in Luzira Prison.
On Monday, court bailiffs arrested the emcee and TV personality, also popular by the name J Kazoora, at Lugogo bypass.
The bailiffs said they had been hunting for J Kazoora for over a year.
Why J Kazoora was Sent to Luzira Prison
In 2015 J Kazoora secured a Shs 54m loan from United Bank of Africa (UBA).
But the celebrity failed to clear the loan.
Deputy registrar in charge of the Execution Division of the High Court Deo Nzeyimana signed papers committing Kazoora to Luzira Civil Prison.
Nzeyimana also ordered UBA to pay Shs 3,000 daily to help feed Kazoora.
