Leave Our Family Property: Angella Katatumba Wants Rukia Nakadama to Find New Office
Angella Katatumba: Pakistani Consulate Needs Rich Person
Singer Angella Katatumba has told the newly appointed Pakistani consul to Uganda Rukia Isanga Nakadama to leave the office currently housing the consulate.
At the start of May, Uganda’s foreign affairs ministry confirmed Nakadama, a former junior minister in charge of gender issues, as the Pakistani consul to Uganda.
Nakadama replaces Boney Mwebesa Katatumba who was consul for 17 years until his death in February 2017.
Although Angella Katatumba had taken from her father in acting capacity, the Pakistani mission in Nairobi had rejected her and instead asked for Nakadama.
Angella Katatumba Chases Rukia Nakadama from ‘Our Family Property’
Katatumba has reminded Nakadama that the consulate was being housed in her late father’s house in Tank Hill Muyenga.
Angella Katatumba says the house in which the consulate is housed ” is our property” adding that she “can do anything I want with it”.
And so? Nakadama must “find where to go”.
The singer also argued that a rich person should have been picked to replace her father since consulates require people who “use their own finances” to run operations.
