Frenchman Sebastien Desabre Appointed Uganda Cranes Coach
The Federation of Uganda Football Association (Fufa) has unveiled Frenchman Sebastien Desabre as new Uganda Cranes head coach.
Desabre’s official unveiling ceremony happened at Fufa House, Mengo, in Kampala on Thursday.
“I present to you the new head coach of the Uganda Cranes, Sebastien Desabre,” announced Fufa Chief Executive Officer Edgae Watson.
Fufa and Desabre, 41, signed a three-year renewable deal.

“I am ready to serve the interests of football in Uganda,” said Desabre.
“My good experience in Africa will be very vital.”
Desabre has coached various teams on the African continent: ASEC Mimosas (Cote D’Ivoire), CS Garoua (Cameroon), ES Tunis (Tunisia), Clube Recreativo (Angola), Dubai Club (UAE), JS Saoura (Algeria), Wydad (Morocco) and Ismaily (Egypt).
