Former Minister Nakadama Succeeds Late Katatumba as Pakistan Consul
Rukia Nakadama Replaces Katatumba as Pakistan Envoy
Rukia Isanga Nakadama, a former junior minister in charge of gender, is new Pakistani consul to Uganda, according to Uganda’s foreign affairs ministry.
Nakadama replaces Boney Mwebesa Katatumba who passed on in February 2017.
By the time of his death, Boney Katatumba had served as Pakistani consul for 17 solid years.
His daughter Angella Katatumba has always claimed she had succedded her father.
Angella Katatumba claims her father had appointed her his deputy — and therefore took over in acting capacity after his demise.
But the Pakistani Mission in Nairobi had rejected Angella Katatumba, also a singer — and instead opted for Nakadama.
