Police and sister agencies are reportedly investigation three Ugandans over their posts, threats and predictions, relating to the murder of Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga and his brother Said Kongo Buga.

Abiriga and Kongo were killed last Friday at Kawanda in Wakiso District.

The three people reportedly under investigation are:

Jane Kuli

Jane Kuli is in trouble for predicting the death of Abiriga.

In her May 24 Facebook post, Kuli wrote: “Abiriga will die in the first week of June.”

And as predicted, Abiriga was shot on June 8, 2018.

Nasser Mugerwa

In an audio recording reportedly being circulated on social media, Nasser Mugerwa claims crime preventers were used to kill Abiriga.
Mugerwa also lists other MPs on the wanted list as Evelyn Anite, Ruth Nankabirwa, Simeo Nsubuga and Raphael Magyezi.
“All of you who touched on the constitution, you will pay. Even you Museveni and your son Muhoozi we are following you step by step,” Mugerwa said in the audio.

Peng Peng

Peng Peng has claimed that Museveni and NRM could have had a hand in the murder of Abiriga.
There are also reports that Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze is also being probed for reportedly saying, previously, that Abiriga was a soft target — easy to kill even when he has bodyguards.
During Abiriga’s burial ceremony on Monday,  Usuk county MP Peter Ogwang  (NRM) asked President Yoweri Museveni and security agencies to force MPs who threatened pro-age limit removal MPs, to record statements.
